Versatility in use
The render finish can be applied to a wide range of surfaces, including concrete, render and previously painted surfaces. Its excellent ability to hide unevenness and repairs makes it an ideal choice for renovation and restoration of older buildings.
You can use the product both indoors and outdoors in the following areas:
- Facades and exterior walls
- Interior walls in living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens

Technical properties and application
With a coverage of 8-10 m² per litre, the product provides good coverage and economical use. Drying time is practical with 2-4 hours to touch dry, and the surface can be overpainted after approximately 4-8 hours at a minimum of 20°C.
Application can be done in several ways depending on the desired effect:
- Brush for detailed work and smaller areas
- Roller for larger surfaces and uniform texture
- Spray gun for professional and quick application
Colour options and finish
B&J Render Finish Medium can be tinted in plenty of colours, giving you great freedom to create the desired look. The product has a gloss level of 10 and appears semi-gloss, creating an elegant surface with fine light reflection.
Note that the product can only be tinted in light colours, which ensures optimal colour reproduction and durability over time.
Flexibility and aftertreatment
A major advantage of this textured paint is its versatility in aftertreatment. The product can be overpainted with most acrylic paints (but not silicate), which gives you the option to change the colour later without losing the textured effect.
Alternatively, the surface can remain without further treatment and develop its natural patina over time.
