B&J 283 Floor Paint Superfinish – Water-based floor paint for hard-wearing and easy-to-clean floors
Do you want a beautiful and hard-wearing floor that’s also easy to maintain? Then B&J 283 Floor Paint Superfinish from Beck & Jørgensen is the perfect choice. This water-based acrylic paint is specially developed for concrete, cement and wooden floors, where both strength and appearance are important.
With a gloss level of approximately 30, the surface appears semi-gloss and robust, and the fast-drying and washable finish makes the paint suitable for both private homes and lighter commercial environments where the floor is used daily.

B&J 283 Floor Paint Superfinish is easy to apply, dries quickly and creates a hard, hard-wearing surface that makes it easy to keep your floor clean and neat. The surface doesn’t yellow and is also breathable, so your floor can still breathe. This means you get a paint that’s not only beautiful – but also functional and healthy for your indoor climate.

Please note: The paint is not suitable for areas with persistent water exposure or floors previously treated with varnish, oil or floor wax.
Preparation and application
To achieve the best and most durable result, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from contamination. Remove any loose paint and sand the surface to a matt finish. Prime the surface depending on the material:

Concrete floors: Prime with Anchoring Primer

Wooden floors: Prime with Caparol Iso Wood Primer
Then paint 2 coats with undiluted B&J 283 Floor Paint Superfinish. Use a brush or roller and ensure good ventilation while working.

Can be tinted in all colours – both light, dark and neutral – from DecoFarvers extensive colour chart.
