Description
Caparol PU Gloss
Professional wood paint with polyurethane reinforcement
Caparol PU Gloss is a premium polyurethane-reinforced wood paint that delivers a glossy and durable finish with a gloss level between 65-75. This advanced paint combines strength and aesthetics, making it the ideal choice for both private and professional painting projects indoors.
Versatile applications
Caparol PU Gloss is perfect for indoor wood painting on a wide range of surfaces. You can use it on doors, window sills, windows, panels, frames and edgings. The paint is also suitable for metal painting and can even be used on furniture and toys, as it is certified with the “Flower” environmental label.
The polyurethane-reinforced formula ensures that the surface becomes extremely hard and resistant to wear and impact. This makes Caparol PU Gloss an excellent choice for high-traffic areas such as doors and window frames.
Technical properties and performance
The paint has a coverage rate of 8-10 m² per litre, which ensures good coverage and economical consumption. Drying time is short at 1-2 hours at +20°C, and the surface is ready for recoating after approximately 8 hours.
The glossy finish provides a shiny and elegant surface that is particularly easy to clean. The high gloss level between 65-75 enhances the natural structure of the wood, whilst protecting against moisture and dirt.
Application and tools
You can apply the paint with various tools depending on your project’s requirements. Use a spray gun for large areas and professional results, a brush for detailed work around frames and edgings, or a roller for medium-sized surfaces such as doors and panels.
Colour selection and customisation
Caparol PU Gloss can be tinted in many colours, giving you the freedom to create exactly the look you want. Whether you prefer classic white tones or bolder colour choices, the paint can be adapted to your project.
Environmental certification and safety
The product is certified with the “Flower” environmental label, which demonstrates that it meets strict environmental requirements. This makes it safe to use both in the home and in the workplace, and it is even approved for toys.
Available sizes
Caparol PU Gloss is available in practical sizes of 0.7 L and 2.4 L, so you can choose the quantity that suits your project’s scope. The smaller size is perfect for minor repairs and touch-ups, whilst the larger size is suitable for extensive painting projects.
