Om EFApaint
EFApaint A/S – Danish Quality Paint since 1889
EFApaint A/S is an established Danish manufacturer of paint, lacquer and wood care products, having supplied quality solutions to industry, trade and private customers for more than 130 years. With a strong foundation in Danish craftsmanship and innovation, the company has developed into a flexible and international partner, offering modern and sustainable paint systems.
History and development
EFApaint A/S was founded in 1889 as Esbjerg Farve- & Lakfabrik A/S by A. Lykke Thomsen. The company started in Esbjerg town centre, but later moved to the harbour, where production of floor lacquer and floor wax took place. In the mid-1960s, the company decided to expand its product range to include industrial paint systems, which laid the foundation for the company's strong market position today.
EFApaint A/S became the first Danish company to release a colour chart with original colours for tractors and agricultural machinery, making it possible for customers to get exactly the colour they needed. This initiative made EFApaint the market leader in Scandinavia for touch-up paint for agricultural machinery.
In 2007, EFApaint acquired FAXE A/S, a leading manufacturer of wood care products, which expanded the company's range to also include solutions for care and maintenance of wood surfaces.
Modern production and quality assurance
Today, EFApaint A/S is an efficient and international operator with modern production facilities and advanced laboratories, where innovative and durable paint systems are constantly being developed. The company has implemented quality and environmental management systems that ensure all products meet strict standards for sustainability, performance and durability.
